Kick harder. Stand taller.

Traditional Taekwondo built for real progress — not participation medals. Dynamic kicks, structured forms, honest sparring, and a belt path that actually means something. Kids and adults train side by side under a 5th Degree Black Belt instructor.

Why Train Taekwondo

What you'll actually walk away with.

01

Explosive power & flexibility

Head-height kicks, spinning techniques, and jump kicks — built progressively through warm-ups designed to make flexibility a byproduct of training, not a prerequisite.

02

Real discipline, not drill-sergeant theater

Bowing, form, and respect are woven into every class. Kids leave with better focus at school. Adults leave with the composure to handle harder days.

03

A belt path with meaning

Testing happens in-house on our timeline — no belt mills, no rushed promotions. Every stripe is earned in front of the coach who knows your training.

04

Honest sparring, controlled contact

Full protective gear, students paired by size and experience. Beginners drill technique for weeks before ever sparring live.

05

Cardio you don't notice

You'll burn 500–800 calories a class without ever staring at a treadmill. Conditioning is built into the training, not tacked onto the end.

06

Community that shows up

Same faces every week. Parents in the lobby become friends. Adult students train together for years. This is not a drop-in gym.

The Path

From first class to fluent.

A clear progression so you always know what you're working toward — not a class you just show up to.

01

Foundation (White–Yellow)

Stances, basic kicks, blocks, and your first form. First 3–4 months. Focus is coordination and mat awareness.

02

Development (Green–Blue)

Combinations, controlled sparring, intermediate forms, breaking basics. Where technique starts to feel automatic.

03

Refinement (Red)

Advanced kicks, tournament sparring optional, deeper forms, leadership on the mat. You start helping newer students.

04

Black Belt & Beyond

The beginning, not the end. Poom/dan testing, instructor track, and specialization in sparring or forms.

Why MAC

Not a franchise. Not a bootcamp.

Every class is taught personally by Guro Lawrence Macaraeg, a 5th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. No rotating instructors, no watered-down curriculum, no belt-mill promotions. Just real training with a coach who knows your name and your goals.

My son has been training here for two years. His focus at school, his respect at home — completely different kid. This place is special.

Common Questions

Before you book.

We start kids at age 6. Younger than that, we recommend one of our free family drop-ins first so we can see if they're ready to focus for a full class.
